Meet Shubhashree
My journey into counselling began with personal loss during the pandemic. Experiencing deep grief taught me what it means to feel lost and eventually, how to find a way back. This lived experience is at the heart of my practice. I am a Provisional Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) with a Master of Counselling and a background in research. I am trained in Transactional Analysis, Couples Counselling and Suicide Intervention.
I work with individuals and couples who are navigating difficult seasons of life. Whether your struggle fits a category or not, you are welcome here. This is your space - to pause, to heal and to find your way back to yourself.
My approach - warm, integrative and tailored for You.
Coming to therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you're carrying anxiety, grief, or relationship stress that's hard to untangle alone. My role isn't to diagnose or tell you who you should be - I'm here to help you make sense of what you're carrying, at your own pace.
I draw on transactional analysis and a person-centred, integrative approach with mindfulness woven throughout. Underneath it all is a simple belief - every individual has the capacity to grow and change and my job is to help create the conditions for it.
In practice, that might mean slowing down to notice what a feeling is actually telling you, or working through a pattern that keeps showing up in your relationships. If you're navigating relationship strain, you don't have to explain why it feels serious - I already know it can be.
I currently offer online sessions with flexible appointment times and work in English, Hindi and Bengali.
In-person sessions will be available in the future, if that's what you're looking for, feel free to reach out and I'll keep you posted. This is a space for you to be met as you are, so I'd love to hear from you.
